BSMT9004 Assignment Instructions:

This assignment is worth 20%.

• You are required to reflect on 2 events that occurred in the past preferably not the most recent past (i.e. more than two weeks ago to allow for real reflection time).
• You must reflect on each event separately and use headings to identify each one accordingly.
• The self -evaluation form below will give you a good indication of what is required- when you complete the assignment use this as a “tick the box” guide on what you have done and what you are about to submit.

Please use these three basic headings at least:

• Introduction (Intro to reflective writing, benefits etc…)
• Event 1
• Event 2
• Conclusion
• Each event should be weighed equally in terms of word count and reflection. Each event should have a mini conclusion each and then also a general conclusion at the end of the assignment for the overall reflection.
• There is no word count but you must use your own judgment on what is too much, a reflection would be to the point and each line should add value so there should be no waffle or superfluous
• The reflection should follow the Gibbs reflection model discussed in class.
• Please submit your reflection writing assignment in word document only
