About this Unit 

Unit 8 of the Social and Health Care Act sets out a duty on the employer to boost the health, safety, and well-being of their employees. This thing gives you a secure and healthy working environment and it also supports the employees in focusing on their welfare and health.

The security and health of the employees in the work area is a duty of an employer. The employees should be provided the reach to suitable healthcare services to promote their welfare of the employees. Employers must not take a chance on anyone’s safety, mentally and physically, this combines both dangerous stuff and material in the physical conditions in the working area but also check that the employees are mentally perfect to play this role.

A.C 7.2 Describe emergency procedures to be followed in the event of a fire in the work setting.
A.C 7.3 Explain the importance of maintaining clear evacuation routines at all times

Task 8: Be able to implement security measures in the work setting
