Essay Questions Brief For University Students

This assignment may be completed and submitted individually or by a group (3 members maximum). The choice is up to you. There is no difference in the criteria or grading for these two options. If the assignment is submitted by a group, you are free to choose the members yourself.

The goal is to write an essay of 10-15,000 words on a research topic of your choice. The research is usually an investigation and synthesis of literature on a topic (e.g., a systematic review), but it can involve new research involving data analysis, if you have suitable data to hand.

This essay highlights my experience volunteering at Heartware Network as a volunteer. I started out as a general volunteer for the National Day Parade (NDP) in 2022 and progressed to Volunteer Leader in 2023.

Your essay should include a minimum of three properly referenced quotations (or citations) from academic sources, a Harvard style bibliography and in-text citations and relevant illustrations if appropriate.

FIT1057 Task: This is an individual assignment where you will be required to write an essay in response to only ONEof the scenarios described on the next page (Bawden & Robinson, 2020).
