About This Sample

In this assignment, we cover what is needed to become a support worker in a health and wellbeing setting. We understand the Code of Rights, which learns how to respect individuals' rights and follow ethical responsibilities. We learn how to apply communication strategies so that we can support people's cultural needs. We also understand the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health and Safety Act 2015 so that we can ensure the safety and privacy of both the support worker and the individual. The course also focuses on cultural competency, which allows us to understand and support people from diverse cultural backgrounds. We also learn about different communication methods, especially for people who have communication disabilities. Finally, we also learn how to handle ethical disputes and grievances professionally. After this course, we will be better able to provide respectful, ethical and culturally appropriate support in our work.
