About this Unit 

This Assignment Example intends to take a critical look into Moderna’s exceptional track record but, in the process, it will question the organization’s talent management strategies and human resource management investments. Through such an approach, it has been sought to unveil how COVID-19 acts as a catalyst which underscores the importance of Imaginative Human Resources Strategy in Moderna has led to its success with the main focus being the pandemic. The firm benefited from a surge in its workforce during the period. As the number of active cases increased prevalently globally, Moderna increased the size of its workforce to meet the operational demands. As per the report by CNA (2022), at the end of 2021, its workforce had scaled up to over 2,500 from 830 at the beginning of 2019. Moderna’s continued success will depend on its ability to expand its pipeline, develop new applications for mRNA technology, maintain a focus on innovation and be a leader in this emerging field (Moderna, 2024). The major obstacles have already been seen by Moderna. However, it should be possible for Moderna to emerge as a recognized leader in the sphere of mRNA technology and develop its business long-term.
