Assessment 1 Research proposal

Word limit: No more than 2,000 words, excluding footnotes and bibliography. 

Assessment 2 Dissertation

Word limit: No more than 6,000 words excluding reference list, bibliography, appendices, the cover page, abstract, glossary and list of tables, figures, charts and abbreviation.

Assessment 1: Research Proposal

Focus

• The research proposal provides a detailed plan of your dissertation research.
• You need to identify your topic area, explain practical and academic rationales, state your research aim and research question(s), review key literature, and outline the intended research methodology.
• Please note that your chosen topic should be subject-related.

Assessment 2: Dissertation

Focus

• The dissertation must be on a business-related area, and the topic should be subject-related.

Marking Criteria

• Pay special attention to the marking criteria in the feedback forms uploaded to the assignment information section of Moodle.
• Adjust your work according to the criteria presented.
