Upload slides as a PDF document to Canvas containing a sharable YouTube video link to prerecorded team presentation
As a team of consultants, you are to select a high-profile organisational leader and analyse this individual's leadership approach. You are to capture your analysis in a consultancy-style presentation and present this as a team in a pre-recorded video. Your presentation should be professional in appearance and should aim to provide analytical depth in the insight it conveys concerning your chosen leader.
Please Note - Each team member is required to participate in the delivery of at least part of the presentation. Overall, timing is critical. Your entire presentation should be around 15 minutes.
Warning please be careful not to go over your time allocation. There is a penalty for not keeping within 10% of your time allocated per group. All group members should speak for roughly the same amount of time or as appropriate.
For this assignment, you must choose a current/contemporary business leader and then analyse their capabilities, behaviour and achievements against this course's theories, models, and frameworks.
DO NOT CHOOSE A PREVIOUS CASE STUDY OR LEADER COVERED IN THIS COURSE ITERATION.
Keep it contemporary and keep it accurate.
You will be invited to self-organise into a team of up to 5 people for this assignment. Together, you will prepare a consultancy-style pre-recorded presentation to present your analysis and findings relating to your chosen leader.
As you will be operating as a team of management consultants, you should select an appropriate name for your professional consultancy team. As a team of management and leadership specialists, you may wish to carefully evaluate your chosen leader's behaviours, decisions, level of influence, impact, reputation, and accomplishments. Other areas worth considering are your chosen leader's use of power, level of interpersonal aptitude, and capacity to shape or influence organisational culture. Throughout your presentation, it is worth drawing upon pertinent and applicable models and paradigms to effectively demonstrate the defining features of your chosen person's approach to leadership. Make sure that you link these to the leader with referenced examples.
Such models and paradigms should be drawn from this course and must suit the level of analysis. The leader's achievements and accomplishments should be captured and presented in an easy-to-follow timeline combining graphic and textual material.
This assignment will be graded according to the following criteria:
A single group mark will be awarded for this assessment item. However, SPARK will be used to moderate the marks. Remember, no Spark, no Mark.
A special note on submission: Please do not post multiple copies of the same presentation-only one presentation submission permissible from each group (team leader).
More information will be provided on Canvas.
Good luck to all with this assignment.
