To undertake an individual written assignment of approximately 3,000 words that covers the entire research process on a topic in accounting and finance. This must include a proposal for a research study into an accounting and finance topic, with an explanation as to how a literature review will be carried out and a justification for the choice of research methodologies used in this research.

Assessment criteria for Assignment 1:

Ability to formulate three research questions derived from the broader body of accounting and finance research.
Ability to justify the research methodologies to be used in this study about appropriate literature.
Ability to review the relevant literature and explain how data will be collected and analysed to address the research questions.
Ability to identify key references and provide citations using CU APA 7th Edition Referencing system.
