b. 9 employees in the S&M group.
c. 8 employees in the FIN group
d. 7 employees in the ADMIN group.
e. 5 employees in the Sales Branch Office.
f. Lifetime max of 5 Servers on separate subnet, regardless of company growth.
g. Use subnet 200.200.100.0/30 for connection to ISP Router.
h. Use C Class network 192.168.x.0 for internal IP addressing,
where letter x is your class index number.
i. You may use VLSM for IP Address planning.
j. Expect 100% growth of current IP requirements when determining the size of the subnets.
k. Each networking device is to be given an IP address
a. Enable Inter-VLAN routing at the Main Building.
b. 4 Research personnel and 3 Sales personnel are on Floor 1.
6 Research personnel and 4 Sales personnel are on Floor 2.
8 Research personnel and 2 Sales personnel are on Floor 3.
c. Turn on the Link Aggregation feature for the links connecting the 3 switches at the Main Building. Use only Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) for your Ether Channels.
d. The 5 Servers are all located at Level 1 of the Main Building
e. IP addresses of end users or hosts will be obtained via the DHCP service.
f. IP addresses of Servers will be statically assigned.
g. Configure one of the Servers to be the NTP server. Synchronise the date and time of network devices (R1-R5 & S1-S3) to the NTP server.
h. Backup the final running configuration of all routers and switches to the TFTP server.
Use the following filename format:
_Rn_running_config.txt
_Sn_running_config.txt
i. Only configure SVIs for the switches at the Main Building. Only include these 3 switches that are placed in the Management VLAN 88 subnet.
j. The gateway router, R1, connecting to the Internet, is located at the Main Building.
k. Use OSPF as the routing protocol for the network.
l.. Use OSPF Process ID 10.
m. All routers are assigned to a single Area 0.
n. Use the following format for router IDs: Rn – n.n.n.n
Example: router ID for R1 – 1.1.1.1 and R2 – 2.2.2.2
R3 is the Designated Router (DR) and R5 is the Backup Designated Router (BDR) at the multi-access network of the Eccles Building.
p. R4 is the router directly connected to the FIN subnet, while R5 is the router directly connected to the ADMIN subnet.
q. Use Lo0 to represent the Internet Server at the ISP router. Lo0: 150.13.2.1 /24
r. Configure only SSH remote access for all routers and switches.
s. Configure PAT at the gateway router to allow all hosts to access the Internet Server.

b. Implementing Multi-Area OSPF Routing.
c. Using HSRP to improve network availability and resiliency.
d. Use extended ACLs to improve the security of the network.
e. Establishing a VPN connection between 2 different office locations.
Propose a network test and verification plan to show that each network feature you have implemented is functional.
The first test plan for the Connectivity Test is prepared for you. You will have to suggest the rest. The table below shows the location of the Originator PC assigned to you using the Student Index number. You are to use your assigned Originator PC to demonstrate the connectivity tests to all points of the network. For example, you must show that your Originator PC can ping all switches, routers, ISP, and hosts at the various office locations.
1. Submit a report by the deadline stated at the beginning of this document.
2. File naming format: SCNW_Project_Report_CLASS_StudentName.docx
3. You may use the following to guide your report:
a. Introduction – Describe your design topology.
b. IP Addressing Table and Device Port Allocation Plan for network devices.
c. Discuss each network feature you have implemented, followed by the
respective CLI configuration details. Use screen captures to show the configuration of each feature.
d. Proposed a test and verification plan for the network features you have
implemented. Use screen captures to show your results.
e. Network Enhancements Credit will not be given to those enhancements not shown during the Project Demonstration.
