About this:
This assignment is concerned with the critical issues surrounding social policy, society, and welfare in the UK. It will start by analyzing the problem of welfare needs versus wants and the way this has changed from 1997 to the present. It goes on to describe the impact of conditionality and austerity on welfare claimants and considers the consequences for vulnerable populations. This assignment also examines the role of class, race, or gender in defining educational achievements in the UK education system today.
In addition, it discusses absolute and relative poverty, considering how widespread they are and for what reasons in the present-day world. Then, there is a comparison of the social and medical models of disability, which makes a differential comparison of how the current health care strategy of the government addresses different health and social care problems. Lastly, a review of significant policy action taken against domestic abuse is presented together with main changes in education policies since the 1940s and differential comparison of welfare issues.
