University Module Title BUSI49101 Group Project Presentation and Individual Report

Assessment Brief

Although all students will be expected to participate positively in their group work, the assessment of the group presentation involves the association with the Peer Assessment (see Group work principles in the Module Handbook) in relation to the engagement and contribution of each member. It is possible that individual grades are then assigned to each member of the group.

This module is focussed upon the learning undertaken through the workshops in the University and self-directed study in the subject area. This learning will be applied to an International Consultancy Project with a real business in an international location and the combination of the experiences and the knowledge learned and applied during the project will form the basis for the assessed subssion.

Preparation and Delivery of the Group Presentation

After completing the work, the team members have to produce and distribute a professional ‘consultancy’ presentation addressed to the client. You will have the opportunity to have a practice presentation with your group tutors on Thursday 7 th March 2024 prior to the final presentation to the client the following day. After this practice, you will receive feedback and guidance from your tutor that you should then incorporate into the final presentation. You should upload the final presentation slides along with your individual and peer feedback notes to the Assessment DropBox by 11pm on Thursday 7 th March 2024. However, though the supervisor may prevent the team from making any blatant errors, the proposition produced for the client must be the consultancy team’s own work.

Group Presentation Learning Outcomes

Within the group presentation, you will be expected to demonstrate that you have met the following
learning outcomes;

  • Demonstrate a critical knowledge and understanding of the primary theories and concepts
    relevant to People Management and Leadership.
  • Critically apply theories to practice in the field of leading project teams from individual, group
    and organisational perspectives.
  • Effectively articulate relevant information and communication and relational skills in managing
    complex project resourcing issues.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in diverse teams and act as a global citizen.
  • Apply knowledge, tools and techniques to resolve issues in new and diverse situations within the
