About This 

This Individual Assignment 2 will be based on the same brief provided by the client for Group Assignment 2. You are encouraged to ask the client any further questionsthat you may wish during the briefing. After the briefing, you may continue to ask questions on the Padlet that will be created. You are not permitted to contact the client on an individual basis.
Your group has already made a presentation to the client; you are permitted to use material from your group presentation. You now need to go beyond it, make it more comprehensive and detailed and give it greater breadth and depth. You will upload your word document before the scheduled submission date and time,stated above.

The Task

You are required to make a marketing plan for the client, based on the brief. You may use a recognised marketing plan structure, such as SOSTAC, RABOSTIC etc. Budget details are required for recommendations. Remember that you are performing a critical situation analysis of your  companies – commendation and critique must be supported by evidence and argumentation. The recommendations you make should be linked to the critical analysis of the company in the preceding sections.

Marking criteria

1. Organisational understanding (30% of the assignment mark) The mark allocation in this section is for: 

  • Appropriate use of tools Breadth and depth of understanding of the client company

2. Evidenced recommendations (50% of the assignment mark). The mark allocation in this section is for: 

  • Appropriate use of tools
  • Breadth and depth of recommendations
  • Budget details for recommendations

Your assignment will also be evaluated on:

3. Presentation (5% of the assignment mark)
4. Data sourcing and utilisation (5% of the assignment mark),
5. Adherence to structure (5% of the assignment mark),
6. Referencing (5% of the assignment mark).

Structure

You will begin your assignment with an Executive Summary briefly outlining your report, followed by a Table of Contents; the Introduction will give a brief outline of the company, as you understand it.
The Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Headings, Sub-headings, In-text Citations, Tables & Figures and their captions, References and Appendices are not part of the word length of the assignment.
