Description of the assignment, task, content and structure:

Students select a tourism, hospitality, or event small or medium sized organisation (ideally carry on with the one chosen for CW1 for this module) to evaluate the current digital marketing strategies of that organisation and provide creative recommendations for it. 

Specific instructions:

  • The presentation title should be 'Digital marketing recommendations for [name of organisation]
  • The video recording should last for 18-20 minutes.
  • Design 8 Power Point slides [Slide 1 - title slide, Slide 2 - introduction of organisation, Slide 3 -target market/s of the organisation, Slide 4 - Current Marketing Mix with reference to service or experience characteristics, Slide 5 - Current digital marketing, Slide 6 - Recommendations (link back to the marketing audit you have carried out for CW1, Slide 7 - Conclusions, Slide 8 - References]
  • Use MS Teams or Zoom to video record your presentation and share the link to the video recording on Canvas. (You may share the video on YouTube and share the link to this on Canvas, however, please remember to change settings to Public on YouTube).
  • Please use at least 10 references for this assignment, 50% of which should be credible,
