Case Study Choice:

Students should focus their Assignment on the specific Case Study Organisation as shown below:-UK Full Time / Part Time and Online Students: “The UK Retail Industry”.
Overseas TNE Students: “The Asian Retail Industry”.

Assessment Brief:

As an individual student you are required to produce a report entitled: -

“An Investigation into the Impact of Digital Business within the Case Study Organisation”

The report should research the use and impact of Digital Business within the Case Study Organisation. The findings should be explained and then recommendations made for organisational development, service/organisational improvement and opportunities for innovation and growth within the Case Study Organisation in relation to Digital Business.

Report Structure:

1: Introduction (300 words).
2: Investigation and explanation of the importance of digital business, innovation, digital transformation, and digital capability within the Case Study Organisation (800 words).
3: Investigation and explanation of the use of information systems, information systems management, big data and business intelligence within the Case Study Organisation (800 words).
4: Recommendations for organisational development, service/organisational improvements and opportunities for innovation and growth in the Case Study Organisation in relation to Digital Business (800 words).
5: Conclusion (300 words)

The Report should be professionally written and produced and be 3000 words in length.

The research in your report should be supported by an academic discussion of the material contained in the module canvas topic and by your own reading of the core text books referred to in the module canvas topic. You should also demonstrate wider reading by the inclusion of appropriate books, journals and case studies from the module recommended reading list. All text books, journals and case studies included should be referenced correctly.
