This assignment is designed to test your knowledge of documentation and supply chain interactions, meeting some of the requirements of the second course outcome.

Case 1: You are dispatched to pick up in Kitchener Ontario. You are picking up a load of refrigerators. They are boxed and palletized and loaded in an ocean container. Your load is going to Miami Florida where you will live unload at a warehouse dock.

Case 2: You are dispatched from Montreal to pick up in Ottawa, Ontario. You are picking up a load of tires for delivery to a car assembly plant in Flint, Michigan. Your appointment for pick up is at 10 am today. Your appointment for Flint is tomorrow at 10 pm. 

Case 3: You are picking up twelve pallets of rice in Vancouver, BC. It’s packed in bags and palletized. You are delivering this load to a factory in St Johns New Brunswick. This move also includes picking up 12 pallets of flour from Milton Ontario before going to New Brunswick.  The load is for a food festival held exactly seven days from today. You are picking up the Vancouver freight today.

Case 4: You are travelling from Houston to pick up a full load of house plants in Galveston Texas. The plants are going to a retailer’s distribution center in Cornwall Ontario.
