Project Brief

The ability for any business organisation to survive will depend on its understanding of not just the micro environment but also the macro business environment. Businesses need to develop effective strategies with their needs and valuable stakeholders.UK on the verge of leaving the European Union and uncertainty in the turbulent dynamic business environment.

You have been employed by a large, medium sized or small multinational organisation based in the UK as a Business Analyst. Evaluate the different types and sizes of business that they will have to compete with. Present analysis of the current environmental factors that impact your organisation.

Evaluate different types of organisations, their size and classification, to demonstrate differences between them. This should include their legal structure, size and scope, as well as their key stakeholders. Determine the various functions within the business and create an organisational chart to explain the inter relationships between different functions of any one organisation.

This should be presented as a report to the CEO and should include the following:

1. Briefly explain different types of organisations and the growth of the international business environment.
   
   
2. Demonstrate any one of the chosen organisations, including background details, products and supply of services, the size and scope with their vision, mission and business objectives, legal structure; and information about their stakeholders.
   
   
3. Describe the functions for one of the chosen organisations, using an organisation chart to show how the functions interrelate and demonstrate how they relate to the objectives and structure of organisation.
   
   
4. Evaluate the current environmental factors that influence or impact your chosen organisation as a Business Analyst.
   
   
5. Describe the various macro environmental factors that impact on the business operations with PESTLE analysis, Evaluate the positive and negative impacts with specific examples relating to your chosen organisation.
   
   
6. Present internal and external analysis for the chosen organisation in order to identify the strengths and weakness. How they influence the decision-making process.
   
   
7. Identify the key strengths and weaknesses with application of SWOT or TOWS analysis of your organisation. Explain the inter relation that they have with the external macro factors.
