Assessment task:

You have been tasked with writing a report for “Digital Business and AI” about how it might be improved through digital transformation with the deployment of bespoke software.

For the report complete the following (word count suggests effort):

1. Introduction – Introduce aims, objectives and an overview of the case study Digital Business and AI. Suggested word count – 250. In the introduction also explain the structure of the business ecosystem that the business is situated in. 

2. Make recommendations for the digital transformation of Digital Business and AI through the deployment of bespoke software. Other types of software might be considered. You will need to reflect upon a range of topics such as data and data management, social media, e-commerce, customer relationship management, business management software, and others as they have been taught on the module. You will also be expected to carry out additional research using the Reading List for this module. To support your recommendations, you are required to make use of examples from the IT laboratories. 

3. Conclusion – identify and discuss the important points from the main part of your work (in 2 above).

Learning outcomes on the module.

1. Carry out research. Be able to carry out research into digital business and digital technologies using appropriate digital platforms such as the UEA Digital Library;
2. Interpret and understand advanced concepts. Be able to interpret and understand relevant information about digital business and digital technologies;
3. Analyse advanced concepts. Analyse and evaluate digital concepts and technologies and how they are used to make businesses digital;
4. Communicate effectively. Present findings appropriately in a report.

Theory. You are expected to refer to theory about digital transformation, business ecosystems, and the technology/software as it was taught in the module.
