This assessment will test the ability of the students to make synoptic links between all parts of the module syllabus based on previous experience and the ability to apply knowledge and experience in analysing a global outsourcing related business problem.
Using the concepts, tools, and techniques studied in this module you are to explore the Strategic and Operational roles of global outsourcing within an organization of your choice ONE organization either in Telecom or Auto/car manufacturing. In doing so you are expected to critically assess how the organization differentiates between the application of global outsourcing concepts, tools, models, and techniques and how they influence the development of global outsourcing strategy and global outsourcing operations (all presented and discussed during lectures).
The assignment should be completed in report format of no more than 3000 words, you need to address the 8 points in the below guidance notes and should include the following:
