• All members must contribute to the assignment
• Each member should understand the full work submitted

5. Assignment Tasks

Choose one small manufacturing or service business.
You may use a real business or create a simple imaginary one.

• Briefly describe the business
• State what the business produces or provides

• Identify fixed costs and variable costs
• Identify direct costs and indirect costs
• Give simple examples for each cost

• Prepare a simple cost statement
• Calculate total cost and unit cost
• Show all workings clearly

• Explain how costs change with activity level
• Explain why understanding cost behaviour is important

• State what your group learned from this assignment
• Briefly explain how group work helped the task

• Length: 2,000 – 2,500 words (excluding appendices)
• Font: Times New Roman or Arial
• Font size: 12
• Line spacing: 1.5

7. Appendices

• Cost calculations
• Tables or simple schedules used

8. Submission Instructions

• One submission per group only
• Submit through UiTM online platform (UFUTURE / i-Learn)
• Late submission may result in mark deduction
