Assessment Brief: 

You have been promoted as the manager of Daisy Oil plc and are needed to create a report examining your views on promoting high team performance. The report should focus on synthesising the theories and concepts in relation to leadership, management and organisational culture. 

You can refer to various topics to encourage high-performance teams, including:

a. Creativity and team development
b. Effective Teamwork
c. Motivation factors
d. Leadership factors
e. Emotional Intelligence
f. Stress management
g. Attitude Change

Appraise methods to enhance organisational effectiveness by referring to cultural change and inclusivity.

Demonstrate in the report all elements that can affect the performance of teams. Use references to relevant models, critically analyse models and academic opinion in-depth to meet the marking criteria.

Use the reading list in the module guide to research the relevant textbooks and journals to support your views.

Secondary Research Source Requirement at Level HE5- It is expected that the Reference List will contain between ten and fifteen sources. As a minimum, the Reference List should include two refereed academic journals and three academic books.

Very Good (60-69%): A very clear and informative piece of work with evidence of wider research and discussion. Some reasoned arguments have been developed and supported by a very good number of sources. Reference to two academic models is clear. Presentation is of a very good standard, in the appropriate report style. A very good number of appropriate sources have been referenced well, with most complying with the Harvard style.
