Part One

Download the file ‘Inaccurate References’ from the ‘Formative Assignment’ folder in Blackboard. Re-type/copy all the items in the list of references into a new Word document. Correct all the mistakes. To do this you will have to study carefully the information given in the programme Handbook on how we want you to write your list of references. 

Submit your revised reference list together with your written assignment for Part Two as one document. This document is to be submitted online via Blackboard.

Why we ask you to watch the video:  

Every year, we have a few students who (usually unintentionally) commit plagiarism. The penalties range from a score of zero for the assignment, to zero for the entire programme. It is therefore vitally important that you complete this video to understand how to make sure you use sources appropriately and avoid plagiarism in your assignments and in your Dissertation/Professional Enquiry. 

Part Three

Write a paper of 1,500 words ± 10% (this means between 1,350 and 1,650 words) with the following title: 

A critical review of the article Audiotaped Dialogue Journals: An Alternative Form of Speaking Practice, by Yen Kuang Ho, and its possible implications for a particular learning/teaching context.
