Read the case study below and ANSWER QUESTIONS 1 and 2. 

  • Gogo Ltd is a Multinational IT company that provides IT services to businesses and  individuals.  
  • Mr Reynold, a married man with children works at the company for over 10 years as a IT  Analysts in the Portsmouth branch and is one of the top executives at the company. Ms Mila  joined the Company 5 years ago, working as one of the Sales Manager in the Portsmouth  branches. Ms Mila is also related (as the niece) to the CEO of the company, Mr Frank. 
  • Mr Reynold who has just been promoted works in the same department with Ms Mila. Ms Mila  has been showing keen interest and making advances at Mr Reynold, and on one occasion  during an after-work party, Ms Mila groped Mr Reynold, and told him that he had a nice body  and that her marriage lacked ‘spice’. Feeling disgusted, Mr Reynold reported this incident to  human resources but nothing was done about this. 
  • Few weeks later, on learning about Mr Reynold’s reporting of the incident to human resources,  Ms Mila started making fun of Mr Reynold in front of his colleagues, calling him a ‘weak  man’. Mr Reynold filed a formal complaint to the Directors of the company but no action was  taken. Nonetheless, following on from this formal complaint, the CEO has been cold towards  Mr Reynold and has recently excluded him from leading a project that he was initially selected  to lead. Few weeks later, the matter garnered media attention and Mr Reynold’s CEO decided  to fire Reynold, accusing him of bringing disrepute to the company. 

Answer ALL questions (Both 1 and 2 below).  

  1.  Advice Mr Reynold if he will be successful in a claim for harassment and victimisation.  
  2.  Advice Mr Reynold if he will be successful in a claim for unfair dismissal.
