Individual Oral Presentation 

Prepare and deliver a presentation to your class on the research proposal you are developing for assessment. Your presentation should include the use of PowerPoint slides, which need to be submitted to Turnitin on Canvas prior to the oral presentation. You will not be allowed to conduct your oral presentation if your slides have not been submitted to Turnitin.

Your Presentation Should Include:  

• A focused research question from a topic of your interest
• Background on the topic highlighting its relevance, research gaps, and objectives. 
• A proposed appropriate and feasible methodology to address the research question, providing details of the underlying specific methods. 
• An outline of ethical considerations  
• A Harvard reference list 

Assessment 2: Individual Written Assignment (Proposal) 

• Your proposal should offer a comprehensive explanation of your proposed research, including, but not limited to, the public health issue, gap in knowledge, justifications of research decisions, and ethical considerations.  Please use the guidance outlined in the Module Guide and additional resources in Canvas to structure and develop your proposal. 
• The proposal should be submitted electronically via Turnitin on Canvas.  Assignments will not be accepted in paper form or via alternative forms of electronic submission.
