This assignment requires you to identify an issue and provide evidence about its impact on future food security or integrity. The second part of this review should deal with the potential solutions such as regulations, detection methods, specification etc.

1.    Discuss the role of the consumer and the changing pressures on the food supply chain
2.    Discuss potential strategies and novel technologies that will enable future human population requirements for sufficient quantities of safe, wholesome and nutritious food to be met.
3.    Discuss tools and techniques necessary to protect the integrity of the food supply chain.
4.    Critically evaluate the role of novel sources of protein and other food ingredients.
5.    Critically evaluate the role of legislation and enforcement as a means of ensuring the integrity of the food supply chain and consumer protection.
