Assignment Brief

Module Aims  

• Introduce students to the technical terminology needed to understand and confidently explore business data, analytics, and tools. 
• Identify the wider context of business information, data types and characteristics, the role of IoT  (internet of things), Big Data and the impact on individuals and society. 
• Evaluate how to use digital tools practically to produce an accurate and in-context narrative of findings. 

Module Learning Outcomes 

• Differentiate between the characteristics of data types and understand their relevance and application within a business.  
• Identify digital attribution models and related excel model(s) to understand distributed business revenue (commercials). 
• Develop a dashboard to support business decision-making with academic theoretical underpinning.  
• Identify and contextualize hardware devices, software and tracking analytics as part of society.   
• Define a narrative for the analytics researched and present the findings as part of a group.
