BUSN07052 Task:

  • Discuss the concept of critical thinking and its benefits in navigating complex problems in a rapidly changing world.
  • Discuss the impacts of technological changes on remote work and remote learning environments and explain what these changes mean for students and professionals in terms of adaptability. E.g. Impact on students: Technology enables students to access to large amount of online courses and educational resources. This facilitates skills development and learning new tools and technologies. Effect on Adaptability: Students must embrace and master the new digital tools, constantly acquire new skills and stay updated. Impact on professionals: Technology advancement provides greater flexibility in terms of work arrangements. Effect on Adaptability: Individuals need to manage their time effectively, create suitable workspaces and adapt to varying work schedules across different time zones in some cases.
    Note: Impacts can be positive and negative. 
  • Present and explain/elaborate on strategies for students and professionals to develop critical thinking skills.

Proposed structure of the presentation

  1. Module title, module name and code, and Banner ID on the slide. Provide a brief overview of the presentation.
  2. Core content.
  3. Conclusion: Recap key points covered in the presentation and emphasize the value of critical thinking.
  4. References (minimum of 04 references). No limit on the maximum number of sources.

Academic misconduct and Generative Artificial Intelligence tools - In cases where an individual persistently exhibits poor academic practice through inappropriate use of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools, they may be referred to their provider’s academic misconduct procedures. Where a student is suspected of misconduct and has their case managed through academic misconduct processes, the level and extent of the perceived offence, along with any previous offences, should be considered. 

If you are being referred to the Academic Integrity Panel, you will receive an email from the module coordinator informing you about the referral. The panel will communicate with you via email regarding what’s next. You need to read their email carefully and follow the instructions.
