Assignment Brief

You will be allocated a global company from the Gartner Top 25 List that has significant operations in logistics, supply chain or shipping, and/or transport) in a list given; conduct preliminary research about the company; identify the key issues and challenges in your selected topic area that are currently faced by the company; and discuss these in the light of relevant literature covered in the unit. You are required to conduct research about these companies for class discussion and confirm with your tutor your choice of the company for your assignments.

Assessment 2 is an Individual assignment requires you to submit a full case study analysis report (3,600 words) 

You are required to continue with your allocated company from The Gartner Listfrom Assignment 1. At this stage, you need to conduct more intensive research about the company; update and confirm the key issues and challenges that are CURRENTLY faced by the company; identify and conduct a critical review of relevant literature to support the analysis of the case issues. This assignment requires you to submit a full case study analysis report (3,600 words) before 10am GMT Monday The report should be presented as a formal business report with the following components:

1. Title Page
2. Table of Contents
3. Introduction and Create a Mind Mapof the relevant information of your allocated company. (equivalent to 500 words)
4. A critical literature review discussion of the selected subject area ( include core definitions and contemporary concepts), and correct referencing (indicative word count 1,200 words)
5. Evaluation and critical analysis of the company's current performance using Rich Picture(equivalent to 500 words)
6. Discuss the key challenges faced in managing their supply chain and logistics, compare/contrast with its main competitors' SCM strategy, and so on using the literature you have reviewed to support the evaluation and analysis (indicative word count 800 words)
7. Conclusion, recommendationsand presentation, (indicative word count 600 words)
