Assessment Brief

You are required to write a report of 2,000 words, applying a key organizational behavior tool (Johnson and Scholes’ cultural web) to a specific organization. You need to identify an organization that you either work for now or have worked for in the past. You will be expected to write in specific detail about what happens in the chosen organization. If you  have never worked for an organisation, then you will need to choose an extracurricular organisation you are involved in, or an alternative organization (after discussion with seminar lead) that you know a lot about.

Details 

You are being asked to write a business report of 2,000 words which should include each of the following sections.

• Briefly introduce the organization you have chosen to write about.

• Briefly introduce Johnson and Scholes’ cultural web theory

• Briefly critically evaluate the theory

• Reflect on the 6 aspects Johnson and Scholes identify about your chosen organisation

• Consider individual, group and organizational levels

• Conclude and point out the implications

• Provide recommendations for the organization to  potentially implement

• The references list is not included in the word count
