Main objectives of the Assessment

At a strategic level of decision making, a manager encounters problem that are largely unstructured and requires a great deal of judgement. Often decisions are unstructured and requires consideration of several external variables that are beyond one’s direct control and are both complex and dynamic. As the Chief Executive Officer of an organization [of your choice] prepare an informed precis for your Board that presents a critical discourse on the strategic external environment that the company faces.

a. Summarise the research and findings by carrying out internal and external analysis for the chosen organisation.
b. Critically evaluate and identify the implications for the strategic management of the organisation including the implication on the Ethical and Social responsibilities based on the findings.
c. Provide a clear recommendation for navigating the current business environment.

Main objectives of the Assessment

Prepare a 20-minute presentation for your Board that evaluates the strategic position of your firm
in the current business environment. Pay particular attention to:
(a) Implications for strategic management of the organization
(b) Implications for ethical and social responsibility
(c) Recommendations for navigating the current business environment
