• Examine  the  implications  of  inventory  holding  and replenishment  policy  when  considering  other  logistics functions and business constraints.  
• Critically  evaluate  and  select  an  appropriate  transport  mode  strategy  for  an  organisation,  including  both national and international distribution requirements.

This assignment is an individual assignment.

This assignment requires you to choose 1 of 3 logistics activities (Distribution/ Sustainable Logistics/ Lean Thinking) and critically discuss the selected logistics practice applied in international logistics operations of a company of your choice (the practice have been implemented by the company). Analyse how the logistics practice affects the replenishment policy and the transportation method selection strategy from the perspective of the Total Logistics Concept at the chosen company.
