As a ‘professional business analyst’ employed by an organisation operating in a dynamic and changing environment, you will often be required to critically analyse the business environment in which the company operates. This will be from both an external and an internal perspective; your analysis will assist and support the strategic decision-making of the organisation.
You are to prepare a 1000-word Business Report in response to a request from the commercial director of the company you are employed. To write the report, you will need to carry out research and analysis on the company you are employed by (You must choose from the list below and agree with your tutor). The report must contain
‘current’ and relevant information from the last two years, an analysis of the business environment, a discussion of the companies’ structure and culture, relevant stakeholders and conclude with recommendations for the future sustainability of the company.
As this is a report, you will use headings to structure your written analysis of your chosen company.
The 1000-word Business report will be typed in Word, and the following structure can be used:
1. Title – (not included in the word count)
2. Contents – (not included in the word count)
3. Executive Summary – (not included in the word count)
4. Introduction – (included in the word count - 150)
5. Main Body – (included in the word count - 500)
6. Conclusion and Recommendations – (included in the word count -250)
7. Appendices – Charts & tables – (not included in the word count)

Your submission should be via a typed Word document uploaded to the assessment area in Moodle. Please use a word count of 1000 and do not exceed. (Referencing will not count towards the maximum allowed)
