PORTFOLIO (100%)
You will find the portfolio deadline date on your Moodle area under the assessment section. To be handed in at the end of semester 1, assessment week 1.

The portfolio is made up of a book review and a film review. You can submit it together in one word document.

1. BOOK REVIEW (50%)
You will write a 600-word book review in SPANISH comparing one of the following books and another one from the essential reading list: 

Ross, C. (2009), Spain since 1812, Hodder Education
Fowler, W. (2015), Latin America since 1780, Taylor and Francis

2. FILM REVIEW (50%)
You will write a 800-word film review in English, which should include a critical reflection following the guidelines provided in class. The review should approach one of the documentary films below.

 NOTE that if you chose to do the book review on Spain, you now need to do your film commentary on Latin America, and vice versa.
