4005ICTE Assignment Task  

This assignment is an individual assignment requiring you to produce an infographic that demonstrates how your own entrepreneurial mindset and background relate to your choice of social, economic or environmental challenge.  

An infographic is a popular medium for delivering important and often complex messages through the use of images, data representation and text. The infographic will represent a complete story that can be understood by the audience.  

A challenge is a problem that someone comes across that requires great effort and determination to overcome. A challenge may present itself in different ways, and a person will need to come up with new and innovative ways to overcome it or to make it better.

Development of Skills and Attributes:

The module enables students to engage in Guided learning experiences outside of the classroom, where students work in diverse teams to explore their local community and identify social, economic, or environmental challenges. In this way, students can adapt their approach depending on people, environment and situation and develop their skills in self-reflection, dealing with uncertainty and building their resilience. In identifying social, economic, or environmental challenges through observations and through being open to new ways of thinking, students will develop their ability to think creatively through embracing their entrepreneurial spirit to lead and drive positive change in their communities, thus learning how to act with integrity. Through peer reviewing each other's enterprising traits and entrepreneurial competencies, students will also begin to understand how to communicate effectively using empathy and begin to develop an awareness of different cultures and how they can respect diverse views and build trust and rapport among their peers. By engaging constructively in the weekly activities and providing the required outputs, the students evidence how they get things done promptly, which then supports the successful submission and outcome of the summative assessment.
