There are two pieces to the E-Portfolio. They are submitted into the same Word document. These are:

• An annotated bibliography of approx. 1500 words
• An employment reflection of approximately. 1000 words

Annotated bibliography

• You have to write summaries of five academic readings.
• In the annotated bibliography, students are required to include four of the eight readings we cover in sessions 2-5.
• The fifth summary is independently chosen by the student and should be relevant to criminology/criminal justice/policing. The source chosen must be of academic quality.
• Each summary should be approximately. equal in length, i.e. about 300 words.
• A suggested template is available to students to help with the layout.
• Students should provide the full reference for each reading summarised, using Harvard.

Employment reflection

Write on the following:

• Some general graduate attributes you possess that are attractive to employers, giving examples of how you possess these.
• Provide information on the career or possible careers you are interested in.
• Some skills you possess that will help you in pursuing the above career or possible careers.
• What steps will you take to try and pursue the career, or possible careers, you’re interested in.
