• Analyse barriers to the delivery of quality in health and social care services.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems, policies and procedures used in a health and social care setting.
• Suggest ways in which health and social care services could improve quality of service provision.

Task 2 of 3 – Presentation (ACs 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 4.1)

Instructions

You are required to prepare a presentation to show that you have an understanding about different perspectives of quality in a health and social care seating and have knowledge about strategies for achieving quality in health and social care services.

Prepare a presentation with speaker notes to:

• Explain stakeholder roles in relation to quality and standards in health and social care settings.
• Explore the role of external agencies in setting and maintaining standards.
• Explain ways in which quality can be measured in health and social care.
• Discuss the contribution of service users in evaluating service provision in health and social care.

Task 3 of 3 – Report (ACs 2.2, 4.2)

Instructions

Prepare a report to:

• Evaluate approaches to implementing quality systems.
• Evaluate methods for assessing health and social care quality of service provision.

Delivery and Submission

• 1x Report (1500 words) excluding diagrams, references, and appendices.

Referencing

• You should use and cite a range of academic and reliable sources.
• A comprehensive Harvard style reference list must be included at the end of the work.
