Course learning outcomes covered 1. Evaluate the historical, socio-cultural, legal and economic contexts of health in Aotearoa New Zealand, including Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Background to this assessment Te Tiriti o Waitangi is the founding document that forms a relationship between the Crown (government) and Māori whānau, hapū and iwi. The colonisation of Aotearoa has been associated with disparities in health, and has impacted the sociocultural, political and economic status of indigenous Māori.

How has colonization and the resulting changes in their socio-economic statusimpacted the health of Māori in Aotearoa?

Write a 2000-word report that provides a critical analysis of your research to provide an answer to the above question.
