One Question only

An offer must be communicated to the offeree to ensure that the latter is aware of the terms of the offer. Communication can be verbal or in writing, but it must be definite and unambiguous; in other words, the terms of the offer must be clear and without uncertainty. Any vagueness in such terms may render the offer invalid. 

Ambiguity or vagueness means that the terms of an offer are unclear or can be understood in more than one way, leading to misunderstanding between the parties in terms of what was really intended. Indeed, any obscurity in the legal document will result in specific terms being interpreted in numerous ways. 

Critically discuss the concept of ambiguity or vagueness in terms of an offer, with the following requirements.

1. Five (5) applicable case laws on the subject matter.
2. State clearly 

• The issue
• Basic facts of the Cases
• The Judgement

• You cannot copy and paste the various cases.
• You are required to discuss via a few paragraphs, what the issue was, basic facts and the judgment.
• Conclude by applying the mentioned cases to the issue at hand in respect of the question above.

• Word count limit 2000 -4,000.
• A bibliography containing all relevant citations in the current APA format must be included.
• The assignment must be submitted by 21st June 2025- midnight.
