Building on the case of the Entrepreneur introduced for assignment 1, you will use the theories, concepts, and relevant frameworks discussed in class and in the readings to present your analysis of an international new venture for the Entrepreneur.
You will be asked to look at how the entrepreneur can focus on internationalisation of the business, providing practical advice to the entrepreneur to support expansion of the business, and / or its internationalisation. The choice of theories used is to be defined by you. Please ensure that you seek advice from your tutor to check the suitability of the theories chosen.
Advice: You have been provided with a case for the first assignment. For the same entrepreneur, you now need to focus on the theories related to internationalising a new venture. You will use theories and ideas taken in the course to build your report. You may identify areas such as:
The report must also consider how the internationalisation strategy of the business can align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
Where appropriate, recommendations should highlight how the venture’s global strategy can contribute to these SDGs. The report must use academic theories and concepts from the course, applied meaningfully to the case.
*For Resit/Referral purposes: Based on the feedback that you have received on your original assignment submission, you need to improve your submission further. Please ask your unit tutor for clarification, if necessary.
(If you did not submit an original Assessment 1, please discuss your topic choice with your unit tutor as soon as possible).
