In this unit, you’ll learn about systems and software used by accounting practitioners, the role of the accountant in implementing systems and controls in organisations, transaction processes, and you’ll develop the ability to critically evaluateaccounting information systems and controls. You will also consider the role of data analytics from an accountant’s perspective.

This unit requires a pass in the examination to ensure that each student can demonstrate their learning independently. |

Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment
activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.
