Assessment Scenario

In recent decades, businesses worldwide have faced challenges from the persistent stream of disruptive digital innovations (DDI). These
Digital innovations are changing business operations and business models (Högberg and Willermark, 2022).

For this assignment, you will be acting as the new Digital Business Consultant of a large firm of your choice. You will be responsible for coordinating and providing technology expertise to your organisation.

The board of directors have tasked you to produce a new “Digital Transformation Report'' designed to evaluate and recommend changes that the organisation must implement to retain its competitiveness in a market vastly influenced by technology.

This is your opportunity to demonstrate your capability and give your employer the confidence to let you run your project in the future.

Below are some samples of industries to look for a company for your assessment:

Task 1: Digital Transformation Strategic Framework (LO1)

Critically review and propose an appropriate digital transformation strategic framework that your organisation should employ to respond to current digital change.

Important: Your analysis for Task 1 should be critical- you must include some digital transformation objectives that can support key departments such as operations, ICT, and marketing to achieve a Pass grade. You are encouraged to use examples to reinforce your arguments for Merit. For Distinction and High Distinctions, you should provide evidence of the use of extensive personal research, which has been thoroughly critically evaluated.
