Copying and pasting paragraphs from sources into your assignment is also plagiarism, and it is still plagiarism even if you mention the source.

General assignment instructions 

• Include a cover page containing your name and student number.
• When you plan your answer, include an introduction and conclusion.
• Type your assignment in Arial font and 12 pt font size; 1.5 line spacing.
• Page margins can be set at 2 cm on all sides (left, right, top and bottom).

Assignment Topic 

Using relevant examples, critically evaluate the importance of spatial and temporal characteristics in understanding environmental change. In your discussion, be sure to differentiate between environmental events and environmental change and explain why discrete events should not be investigated in isolation when looking at environmental change. Provide specific, relevant examples to support your arguments. 

The length guideline for this assignment is 3000 words. 

Use the mark allocation below as a guide to the length of the answer required per topic or section. For instance, if a question is worth 10 marks, you are expected to write not more than 500 words. Please state your assignment's "Word Count" on the cover page. 

Explore a minimum of fifteen (15) scientifically accredited sources of information and include them in the reference list for your answer.
