GA31 A Research Plan on Corporate Social Responsibility Assignment Questions

Instructions

• Bachelor's Students are to write an individual essay of a minimum of 2000 and a maximum of 3000. Before embarking on the assignment, you should read Part 5a (Academic Writing handbook) and 5b (Plagiarism Policy) of the Education and Examination Guide (EEG).
• Students must submit their work before the deadline through the Turnitin submission online areas.
• All submitted files should be in MS Word Document (*.docx) format.
• Students will be randomly selected for Presentations. Therefore, all students should be prepared. Details will be communicated to the selected students.
• In case of a retake, students are allowed to revise their original exams submitted at the end of the respective teaching block.
• It is allowed to use AS-tools for developing the research plan in terms of finding information and developing ideas. It is, however, not allowed to use AI in writing the research plan. The AI-generated part should be no more than 20%, and the total (AI-generated + AI-edited) should be no more than 40%. Papers with higher AI scores are not accepted, and an ‘Academic Misconduct’ notification will be sent to the Graduation and Examination board.

Assignment

You are required to develop an initial research plan. You can write an initial research plan for the topic you want to write your Graduation Assignment on, or you can choose from any ONE of the topics presented below:

• Customer/Guest Loyalty
• Artificial Intelligence
• Corporate social responsibility
• Entrepreneurship

Ensure you align the selected topic with your specialisation (Pathway) and/or industry of your choice. However, the fundamental concepts and theories learned in this course apply to all topics.

You are to formulate and clarify the research topic and come up with an initial research plan that covers the following topics.

1. Introduction

• The area of interest and the broader context of the problem/issue of your research
• Problem statement, specifying the topic that you want to address in your research within that broader context
• Main research Objective(s)
• Main research Question(s)
• Research Sub-questions
• Significance of the research

2. Literature Review:

Find 3-5 articles from academic papers on your topic and briefly discuss the relevance of these articles for your research and the constructs/key terms in your RO/RQ’s:

• Give a summary of the article
• Discuss strengths and weaknesses
• Discuss why and how this article is relevant for your research.

3. Research Methodology and Methods

• Research Methodological choices and justification for this decision
• Research Design and justification for the decisions
• Populations, Sampling and Data Collection techniques and procedures and justification for these choices
• Analysis plan
• Ethical Considerations
• Limitations of the research
