FY028 Assignment task:

In this assignment, you will write an investigative report addressing one of the following, which will be assigned by your lecturer. The report is expected to be around 2000 words +/- 10%. 

1. Factors Influencing Brand Loyalty Among Young Consumers: A Study in the Sports and Energy Drink Sector   Problem/ Question: What are the factors that influence brand loyalty to a product like the sports and energy drink? 
2. The Impact of Collaborations with Food Delivery Platforms on Restaurant Popularity. Problem/ Question: How has the collaboration with food delivery platforms helped the local restaurants in UK? 
3. Money as an Employee Motivational Tool.  Problem/ Question: Can monitory rewards really motivate employees in the long term? 
4. Using Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Customer Service.  Problem/ Question: How can organizations use artificial intelligence to enhance customer service? 
5. Maintaining Academic Integrity in the Digital Learning Age.  Problem/ Question: What is meant by academic integrity and how can the higher education institutes inculcate the culture of academic integrity ?

The report will assess your ability to collect and use information from various sources, investigate a specific issue, and plan and execute a project to provide a well-researched solution or answer. You will also be evaluated on your ability to communicate your findings effectively through a well-structured report.

Your report should be structured as follows:

• Abstract: Provide an abstract (suggested word count: 200 words) summarising the research question, methodology, and expected outcomes.
• Introduction: Provide background, state the research problem, formulate main questions, outline aims and objectives, and explain the study rationale. (Suggested word count: 400 words) LO2).
• Literature Review (Suggested word count: 500- 600 words): Summarize existing studies related to your topic, discuss relevant theories and models, describe the range of sources you have used, including academic journals, books, reports, and any other relevant materials. Explain why these sources were chosen and how they contribute to your investigation. You will identify gaps in the current literature that the research will address. (LO1)
• Methodology (Suggested word count: 300 words): Describe the overall research approach. Detail the methods you used to collect and select information, ensuring they are appropriate to the academic discipline and context of your study. You should also mention the ethical considerations that you have made during this research.
• Research Findings/Discussion: (suggested word count: 400 -500 words) Problem Analysis: Analyse the problem or question in detail, identifying the key factors or issues that need to be addressed. Conduct a thorough analysis of secondary data (e.g., existing research, journals, articles) used for the study. (LO3). Data and Evidence: Include any relevant data or evidence that supports your analysis. This could be quantitative or qualitative, depending on the nature of your investigation.

Conclusion and Recommendation  (Suggested word count: 300 words): Summarise key points, highlight research importance, and reaffirm commitment to the research question. Provide suggestions based on your findings. (LO2, LO4)
