FDD1323 FINAL ASSIGNMENT BRIEF

Project Title:

Fantasy Theme Poster Design

This assignment requires the student to design a Poster Design which according to fantasy theme. The student are required to use the knowledge and skills learn in class such as Adobe Photoshop to create a visual artwork of a poster. Students are tom come out with a visual artwork on their own creativity based on the topic as well.

It is a practice of the creativity and execution of the students in art and design. With proper design thinking, student will be able to produce a good visual design.

Objective:

To develop the skills and knowledge of principles of design; to develop the visual thinking skill of students by exploring different and unique ideas in making composition; To develop creativity in originality.

FDD1323 Submission Requirement:

• Adobe Photoshop working files. 
• Final poster design in A3 size, PDF format.
• A short description of the artwork should be no more than 100 words.

FDD1323 Assessment:

The assessment will be based on these criteria:

• Research and analysis
• Design process and development
• Idea and creativity
• Visual language
• Technical production/skills/finishing/craftmanship
• P/s: Copy someone’s design idea will not make you a great designer. Refer to other’s great work and develop your own concept, idea and design will gain
• your design skill. If plagiarism found, you will only have to redo the assignment in between a week or give up this project and work hard for next semester.
