EBMV231 Assignment:

The first assignment is a group assignment related to your marketing research report topic. It has three sections.  For the first section of the assignment, you need to write an introduction (¾ page) about your marketing research topic. You must consult literature and cite at least six journal/academic textbook sources.  Use Google Scholar as a search engine.

For the next section, you must indicate the research gap (problem definition ½ page) - why it would be important to research the topic.  You can cite other studies that indicated further research is necessary OR were not totally on your specific topic or the study was not conducted in the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape/South Africa area. The last sentence of this section should be posed as a research question.    In the third section, you must indicate your study objectives (¼ page).  You should have  a  primary  objective  aligned  with  your  title  and  three  secondary  objectives covering what outcomes you want to achieve by conducting the study. 

As a formal scientific assignment, you must present it with a cover page, table of contents  and  reference  list,    Consult  your  study  guide  to  ensure  you  meet  the presentation requirements. Familiarise yourself with the example regarding the layout and the writing tips to complete the assignment. Please remember your first draft is not your best draft.  In research we revise our writing and improve as we read more journal articles about our topic. You need to consult at least 10 sources to write up this assignment.  Your first 10 sources found it not necessarily the best sources.
