Use and cite at least two of the following topic Resources: textbook Chapter 4, Topic 3 Overview, "The Mystery of Original Sin" article, and Bible passages. Cite all of the resources used with in-text citations. Include all the sources you cite on a reference section at the end of this document.
Based on at least two of the listed topic Resources, type your answer to the following questions in the box beneath each question.
1.What is revealed about human nature (from Genesis 1-2)? Cite and reference the textbook.
Your answer in 100-150 words:
The book of Genesis 1 & 2 covers creation and how God created us in his image. The Lord took seven days to make the world. Day 1&2 God separates light and dark and creates the sky separating the waters, on Day 3&4 he created dry land and the sun moon and stars, and on day 5&6 he created the creatures and the birds and the creatures in the sea and on the last day God created man. Adam was then in the Garden of Eden and later God created women because God felt that he needed a companion and that is when Eve was made.
2.What are the consequences of the fall for human nature (from Genesis 3)?
Your answer in 100-150 words:
The consequence for man started in the garden due to the sinning of Adam and Eve, God told them to not eat from the garden of knowledge of good and evil and they were tricked by the serpent and did it anyway. Therefore, God punished them kicked them out of the garden and they were forced to work. God promised Adam and Eve an easy beautiful life however when this happened it changed everything, and this is when sinned entered the world "While God had given Adam and Eve dominion, they discard God's only rule and because of that sin and death enter God's good creation and this sin would cause a separation between God and humanity" (Diffey 2020) God made it for women to be cursed with childbirth to be extremely painful, and they would not have any authority over their husbands. God shows this in Genesis 3:16 "To the women He said, "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception: In pain you shall bring forth children: Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you" (King James Version Holy Bible 2011)
3.What is revealed about human purpose? What does it mean for humans to flourish, in other words, to achieve spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being? Cite and reference "The Mystery of Original Sin" article.
Your answer in 100-150 words:
I personally feel that the purpose is to take care of the earth so that future generations can thrive. I also feel that God has blessed us and given us a command to be fruitful and multiple he states this is Genesis 1:28 ""Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it: have dominion over the fish or sea, over the birds of the air and over every living things that moves on the earth" (King James Version Holy Bible 2011). I also feel that we need to align ourselves freely with God's will and to exercise, belief, trust and obey God through everything and this is including when we don't understand things that happen in our lives. We must put Jesus as the center of our lives and lean on him as stated in the mystery of original sin "Why the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the tree with the forbidden fruit should be placed right in the center of the garden of Eden, the reason is that this is where God belongs in our lives." (Shuster 2013), this statement says it all.
4.How would pantheism or atheism (choose one) view human nature, human purpose, and human flourishing?
Your answer in 100-150 words:
An atheist might view human nature as being kind to others and treating the earth with respect. Atheist however do not look to God for guidance and acknowledge that he created the world, they basically feel that he doesn't exist. Atheists believe that man came from evolution through biology and science and their purpose is to flourish through their own path and success. Atheists have a belief that human purpose is self-defined and that everyone can create their own meaning of life through their own personal goals and relationships. They like to focus on things like personal growth, ethical behavior and pursuing intellectual and enrichment. They also try to find personal joy in their lives; they see life as a natural phenomenon and without a supernatural directive. There are also some atheists that like to emphasize individual agency free will and that we humans are responsible for shaping their own lives and figuring out their own purpose.

Order Non Plagiarized AssignmentThere are 105 buses spread out through 33 states and 11k+ lives have been saved. It was found in an article that in 2023 the organization had only 28 mobile buses in 30 states and that has grown "Save the Storks organized with 62 pregnancy centers, 6,080 ultrasounds were performed and 86% of those women chose to carry their babies to term" (PR Newswire 2023). There are so many risks for women who have an abortion, including premature birth for future pregnancies which is a 36% increased risk and for each abortion that risk goes up. From 1995-2009 there was an 81% increase from women who have had abortions of mental health problems including depression, anger, sadness and sexual dysfunction. There are an estimated 125,000 abortions every year worldwide, and this organization feels that if they can show women their babies, provide free resources such as prenatal care and adoption agencies that they are able to bring that number down.
2. Describe how this issue creates dehumanization and diminishes human dignity. Include statistics, causes, and impact on people (victim, perpetrator, others as appropriate).
Your answer in 75-100 words:
Abortion I personally feel is dehumanization because you are killing children who are innocent in the womb. Science and the world view on this has given people the misconception that the baby is just cells, it is a woman's body, and it is her choice, along with it is just a blob of tissue. Abortionists' rights activist has gone to great lengths to push these theories and thoughts to women and have never spoken about the baby in the womb they refer to it as a fetus. This tragic medical procedure effect human dignity in various ways, you are ending a potential life, from the moment of conception that is a child and has a right to live. The medical field and abortionist right activists feel that the right to abortion is violating human dignity. There are many reasons why women are would choose to have an abortion, rape, incest, and unplanned pregnancy, " With the act of interrupting pregnancy, abortion corresponds to the choice or not having children in a particular moment of one's life' (Pacilli, Giovannelli, Spaccatini, Vaes, Barbaranelli 2018), this is another lie that the world has given reason for abortions. However, the rate of abortions has gone up 2%, there are roughly 118 abortions every hour, or one every 30 seconds. There is also another source that states that 1500-2500 abortions per day in the US. Allowing this to happen in our world we are destroying human dignity and dehumanization of human life and there as Christians I feel that is important for us to stand up and do everything that we can to not allow this inhuman and tragic thing to happen.
Use and cite the organization's website, in addition to the topic Resources. Cite all of the resources used with in-text citations. Include all the sources you cite on a reference section at the end of this document.
Write how the Christian worldview ministry that you selected is combatting the consequence of the fall.
1.What organizational statement reveals that this organization is operating from a Christian worldview?
Your answer in 250-300 words:
Save the storks is providing hope and resources to women who have unplanned pregnancies and are in a position that they don't know what to do and feel that having an abortion is there only option. They are allowing them to see their unborn babies on an ultrasound and resources for adoption and prenatal care. By doing this they are saving lives and following the biblical principal that all lives matter and God created us in his image. Save the Storks is also working to change the language and the conversation around the pro-choice movement. This organization is operating from a perspective that emphasizes the intrinsic value of human life and works on the importance of protecting the unborn child. Save the storks organization values human life and the understanding of God's creation and human life. With this organization we can save babies and women from the heartache of one of the worst killings in history. You can see on the website and research that they want to reach as many women as they possibly can, within the last year they have gained 50 more busses and 3 more states. They stand behind the Bible verses "For you created my inmost being: you knitted me together in my mother's womb" Psalm 139:13-14 (Holy Bible New King James Version 2011), and "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" Jeremiah 1:5 (Holy Bible New King James Version 2011). Being a Christian organization, they know the sanctity of human life and want to help as many women as possible even with the bad circumstances and let them know that Jesus loves them and their babies. I pray that God blesses this organization and many others who are doing the same thing.
2. Explain how the organization uses a God-centered worldview (as defined in the "The Mystery of Original Sin" article) to address dehumanization and restore human dignity.
Your answer in 250-300 words:
Save the storks is a Christian organization that gives hope to women who are in a hard situation, and they have nowhere else to turn. This organization does not care of your religious statues they want to spread the love of Jesus but also show these women how important human life is, and they do this by giving women free ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and resources for them that are needed. Save the Storks is pro-life and put God in the center of their organization, and trying to save the unborn child. The mystery of the original sin talks about how sin can take over our lives and sometimes turns it upside down. In the article it states, "The pregnant teenager may have only tried it once with her boyfriend, but her life will be forever altered" (Schuster M. 2003). This is something that happens far too often in our world and shows how sin can change our lives. The organization shows women that they don't have to make another sin, and they can choose life. This is where organizations like Save the storks can be useful because they can help.
