CO4225/CO7225 Task 1

Coursework 2 covers the Develop and Deliver stages of the Double Diamond framework.

For Task 1, you must:

• Write 1-3 sentences describing your smart library service which is intelligent and data-driven.
• Create 2 prototype medium-fidelity mock-ups of your service. These can be of the UI of any touchpoint the user interacts with (e.g. app, website, etc.).

CO4225/CO7225 Task 2

• The mock-ups must be annotated to show the intelligent aspects of the designs and highlight any design choices made.

In Task 2, you will create a Data Flow Diagram which contains the entirety of your designed service, not just what is shown in Task 1's prototypes. It should cover the user's journey through the service from the first point of interaction. You should include all touchpoints and data stores as well as arrows should be annotated to indicate data flow in the service.

CO4225/CO7225 Task 3

In Task 3, you will need to evaluate your prototypes from Task 1 using the template below. For the features shown in the prototypes, you should decide how much value they provide the user as well as how complex the feature is. For example, a feature with high value and low complexity would be placed in the top left square in the template. You should give 1-2 sentences supporting why you think the feature has a high/low value and high/low complexity. You should choose 4 features from the prototypes where at least one feature is high value and one feature is low value in the quadrants below.

Then, you should write 1-3 sentences on what you can learn from a high value feature to improve another feature in your prototype. You should also write 1-3 sentences on how to change a low value feature in your prototype into a high value feature.
