A bus station is on the other side of the dual carriageway. The client has engaged an Architect to sketch out a potential site plan, and the Architect has engaged your organisation to advise on all matters of building services, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
At a concept meeting, the Client is pleased with the Architect’s initial proposal for a long, narrow building plan running North to South and the Architect’s explanation of how the building will integrate with its surroundings. However, the Client suggests that the building should be rotated through 90 Degrees so that half of the rooms have a clear view of the docks and will therefore attract a premium rate.
