This assignment has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your achievement of the following module learning outcomes:
Scenario: You work for a Tour Operator located in the UK. You have been asked to assess one of the 10 most popular destinations in Australia to evaluate amenities, attractions and travel options available and the type of tourist visiting the destination. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation for the management meeting of the Tour Operator company. This assignment aims to give an insight into this managerial practice within the tourism industry.
Assignment type: PowerPoint Individual Presentation with annotated script (750 words on the slides + 750 words in Speaker Notes) submitted in a Word Document.
From the list of 10 destinations listed below, select one destination to focus your presentation on.
1. Identify what kind of amenities, attractions and travel options are available at the destination.
2. Explain the type of tourist that typically visits your chosen destination.
