Unit 5: Security Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this assignment is to:

LO3: Review mechanisms to control organisational IT security 
LO4: Manage organisational security.

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able knowledgeable organizational implement robust mechanisms, security audits, vulnerability assessments, access controls and security best practices, continuously monitor and update security measures to mitigate potential risks and ensure a secure environment.

Unit 5: Security Vocational scenario:

You are junior IT Security Specialist at KG-60 Security Service and Solution company. KG-60 provides Physical and IT security solution, installing and monitoring security infrastructure and digital assets all around Myanmar. 

Har Da Ya is one of the training campuses providing MBA Degree to post- graduate students. After completing MBA degree, students are ready to enforce Business Organization as Tactical Management Layer.

As business data become more and more important and confidential, the awareness of security is one of the key knowledges, ethics and behavior to become successful and sustainable business. So, manager of HarDa Yaand request KG-60as Security Campaign Organizer has asked to identify and accessing IT security risks together with the organisation's important data and using equipment's tools and techniques. You are required to provide a detailed report and involving technology solutions and management associated with security policies and procedures. And then review of various tools and software used to develop effective IT security. Manage risk relating to organisation to access authorization, regulation of use, implementing contingency plans.
